FIRST SERIES (ongoing)
First Series proposes that psychic subjectivity may be externalized by means of its particular iteration in colour and its representation through light, subject and form in painting. The subjects within this series of oil paintings move indiscriminately between recognizable and imaginary forms, rendering their hidden interiors intimately visible through a simultaneous dichotomy of revelation and concealment. Through the recurrence of a curtain, gaze, or tone of light, the veiling and unveiling of apparent forms reveal a subject stalled in the inescapable room of their disappearance.
